O cliente web desenhava cada byte de uma letra UTF-8 como se fosse uma letra separada. Agora o texto é lido por caractere: á, é, í, ó, ú, ã, õ, ç e suas versões maiúsculas aparecem como uma única letra, com largura correta. A edição e exclusão dessas letras no campo de texto também respeitam o caractere inteiro, preservando textos antigos de um byte por letra.

The web client treated each byte of a UTF-8 letter as a separate character. Text is now read by character: á, é, í, ó, ú, ã, õ, ç and their uppercase forms display as single letters with the correct width. Editing and deleting these letters also respects complete characters while preserving older single-byte text.
